Education & Training Awards for Women
The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards are grants to assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families to be more successful by improving their education and job skills, helping them achieve their goals through better employment and career opportunities.

Career Support for Girls
Through seminars and positive role models and support of Soroptimist, teen girls learn about career opportunities, how to set and achieve goals, how to achieve success and move forward, even after setbacks and failures.

Community Awareness

Human Trafficking Awareness

Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force Member
Soroptimist International of Brea/La Habra is part of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force and also part of STATII, Soroptimist Together Against Trafficking who work locally to increase human trafficking awareness and support for HT survivors. Soroptimist also support global advocacy through the UN, recognizing January 11 as National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

Student of the Month Awards

Honoring Special Needs Students at Brea Olinda High School
Every year we honor Brea Olinda High School Special Needs Students of the Month. Each student is awarded a certificate and gift card, and their names are added to a plaque on permanent display at the school.

Help for Brain Injured Children

Supporting Graduation for HBIC — La Habra
SIBLH makes a yearly donation to help with graduation ceremony costs for Help for Brain Injured Children (HBIC), a nonprofit private school in La Habra for handicapped children and young adults who are unable to attend regular public school. The school was founded by our Life Member, Cleta Harder.

Purses with a Purpose

Donating Essential Items to Women in Transition
At our 2025 Thanksgiving Feast we collected 43 purses and filled them with essential items most women need. We donated the purses to Radiant Futures, a women's transitional living center.

Christmas Shopping for Families in Need

Brea and La Habra Families · Every Year
Every year our club members donate money and buy toys and gifts for needy families in Brea and La Habra. We wrap the gifts and deliver them directly to the families.
