Women's Self-Defense Class: Defend Yourself!

$5 per person

 

Dress comfortably as this is definitely a hands-on clinic taught by Brad Wenneberg and staff from the American Martial Arts Academy, Fullerton. In just two hours, you will learn how to be alert of your surroundings, be aware of potential dangers, and protect yourself with easy-to-do self-defense techniques.

 

Open to all females age 13 and up

Limited to 50 people

National Human Trafficking Awareness Day

        

In 2007 Congress declared January 11 of each year, National Human Trafficking Awareness Day with the following:

        

"...Congress supports the goals and ideals of observing the National Day of Human Trafficking Awareness on January 11 of each year and all other efforts to raise awareness of and opposition to human trafficking."

        

The first National Human Trafficking Awareness Day took place on January 11, 2008 with organizations throughout the country promoting awareness in their communities.

 

Working with Sandie Morgan of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, Sorpotimist International of Brea/La Habra invited people from city governments, local chambers of commerce, and police forces to become more aware and informed on the problem of human trafficking that exists in all areas and walks of life. Including our local comminties.

Distribute information to patrons of the Orange County Fair who are interested in finding out about Human Trafficking and what number they can call if the suspect illegal activity.
